Brothers, Oscar and Luis Rivera, from the beautiful Pacific Coast state of Michoacán, Mexico, opened Rivera’s Mexican Taqueria in the fall of 2024.
Luis has spent much of his life working in restaurants and has long dreamed of owning his own. That dream became a reality when Luis and Oscar, opened Rivera’s Mexican Taqueria at 200 E. Washington St. in Hartford City, bringing the authentic flavors of their homeland to Blackford County.
At Rivera’s Mexican Taqueria, we take pride in offering a variety of authentic Mexican dishes, including tacos, burritos, quesadillas, tortas, quesabirrias, nachos, Trompo Al Pastor, and more. Each item is prepared using fresh ingredients and traditional Mexican methods. Our handmade corn and flour tortillas are crafted in-house and fried to perfection, ensuring every bite is bursting with flavor.
